This past week in ISM was pretty successful in my opinion. I got all of my assessments done on time, my third interview set up and completed, and working on getting my mentor confirmed within a short period of time. The helpful part of the week was the four-day weekend, which helped me get my two assessments, that were both due on Friday, on time and gave the professional I was interviewing some free time to talk to me about his career in Consultancy. My goals for the upcoming week in ISM are to work according to time because I don't have another four-day weekend, so I actually have to work on my assessments prior to the deadline, and to ask one of the professionals I interviewed to be my mentor. I believe I mentioned this in a previous blog, but I will most likely be asking my first interviewee to be my mentor mainly because the consulting firm he works for, Accenture, is literally the best consulting company in the world, and he works on the most similar topic that I intend to go into one day, AWS Solutions Architecture. Along with my mentor and assessments, I want to try my best to get started on my original work this week, which is to design a cloud-based platform such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc and hopefully get more research about the current strengths and weaknesses of these platforms.
