Finding a New Article

The past week in ISM, I finished the article I was reading, which was about current issues in cloud computing regarding the security and infrastructure side of the cloud. I also finished my research portfolio, which was due on Monday, but in doing so I procrastinated my time to find a proper article for my research assessment due last Friday. Eventually I found an article, which was an introduction to cloud computing, but since I had such a small time frame to read and complete my assessment, I was forced to reading only a small amount of the article. I definitely could have read the entire article and written a better research assessment given that I had more time to do it. I should have found an article earlier, and I should have worked on the research portfolio over the weekend so I would have more time to finish my research assessment and read the article. But in the end, that's what ISM is all about: teaching proper time management skills and efficiency to get work done. Along with my research assessment, article, and research portfolio, there was also the research showcase invitation that I had to work on, but I completely forgot about. I finished my guest list for the invitation, but I still have to finish the actual design of the invitation card, which I will work on after this blog. Overall, the past week was a good lesson for time management and productivity in ISM.
