Getting Ready for the Research Speech

The past week in ISM, there really wasn't much to do until the end of the week. By the end of the week, Coach Goff let us know that we have a Research Speech coming up over the course of the next classes, and that's when she really caught my attention. Everyone had to sign up for the speech on a Signup link online, and right when I was signing up for a later date, someone else had already taken the spot. So eventually, I had to be one of the first people to take the speech, which took place on Monday, and I had to work on the entire speech and presentation over the weekend. But overall, the speech went really well, and I thought that there were a few places I could use someone improvements, such as keeping my eyes up during the speech and probably staying still throughout the speech. Other then those two things, I thought I did pretty well as the speech was really just about telling everyone what we had done so far for our research and work in ISM. I also need to start working on my portfolio, as I didn't have it completely prepared for the speech.
