Post Research Speech Cooldown

This week in ISM, I had was the first one to complete my research speech, and honestly the speech was not as scary as I thought it would be. In my last blog I talked about how I was really nervous, and what I did in order to prepare for this speech, but after doing the speech the only thing I could think about is getting ready for my next speech. Altogether I feel good about finishing my research speech, and I still have a lot left to improve on regarding my public speaking skills, but I think I still did somewhat decent on my first actual speech. After the speech was over, I decided to focus a lot more on my research for my Original Work, and focus on working more on my portfolio as I still have a lot left to update on my portfolio. In class, I started printing out sheets for my portfolio and putting them into the right places in my cover sheets, but this upcoming week I still have to print out my annotated articles, my research assessments, my resume, and many more sheets that I have worked on so far. I also need to work on my next research assessment and find a new article to complete the assessment over, as I completed my previous article I was working on. Overall, I'm cool that my research speech is finally over, but I still have a lot left to complete regarding my other work in ISM.
