The Effective Second Week

The past week in ISM was very eventful because I had two informational interviews, and both of them went very well. The first interview I had was with a professional who works at Accenture, which is a huge consulting company that operates around the world, and the interview was amazing. The professional I interviewed showed me around the entire office and gave me a very detailed explanation about how a consultant in this field typically works on a daily basis. Overall it was a mind-blowing experience, and as of now I am planning to ask him to be my mentor after the interviewing process is over. The second interview I conducted was with a professional who works at a consulting company called Credera, which is actually a competitor with Accenture. The person I interviewed was very nice, and I received a lot of information useful for my future when I go to college and after graduation. Altogether the past week in ISM was successful in my point of view. This week I hope to get the final mandatory interview I need and finalize my mentor decision, and maybe get started on my mentor visits starting from the weekend. Next week my goal is to finish my interview assessments and start coming up with ideas for my original work.
