The Shift

After a great week in ISM last week, this week was a bit slow. I connected with more professionals on LinkedIn and talked to some of them about having a research interview, but a few of them did not respond. The good news was one of the professionals is willing to have a research interview when he gets back from his travel after October 3. Hopefully I can get that interview set up next week and confirm a mentor by that weekend, but I still have to talk to more professionals. Other then finding professionals, I found another topic I am interested in researching within Consultancy in Computer Science. The past few weeks for my research assessments I looked into SAP related software applications and classes to take in college. Starting from this week, I want to research about IT Architecture in Consultancy in Computer Science. For my upcoming assessments, I look forward to finding more about this topic in Computer Science. Also, next week is the event at Independence High School where we get to meet more professionals and receive feedback on professional skills, and I look forward to getting to know more people. Overall, hopefully next week is a good week in ISM, and my goals are to ask someone to be my mentor.
