Tough Times

Wow. There is a lot going on right now with spring break and the coronavirus, and to be completely honest, right now is not the best time for ISM because we cannot meet with our mentors, we have our final product due date coming up, and all of our other classes are switching to online learning. So juggling everything to adapt to the new learning has been a bit stressful, but hopefully we will be able to get used to it soon because it is probably going to last till the end of the school year. Even though we cannot meet our mentors in person, we can still talk to them over the phone or communicate through email, which works for me, but I think it would be a little easier if he was able to show me how to work through attaching HTML to the AWS website. Although we cannot do that, I will figure something out to help me get through that part, and finish my website by Final Presentation Night. Altogether, this week in ISM is going to be a bit different, but I am hoping that I will easily be able to adapt to the situations that have popped up and successfully get through the end of this year. Other than the changes that are happening in school, over spring break I got a pretty good amount of work done towards my final product. My mentor also texted me over the break asking how the code towards my website was going, and I told him about some of my concerns and accomplishments. I also think I am getting ready to publish some parts of my website, but I still need my mentor to edit a few parts of my code. I mainly used the break to finalize my learning of the code, and start adding specific pictures and additional markups to the website. Ultimately, I could have used my time a little better over the break, but at the same time I feel like I got a good amount of work done towards my product.
